An important initiative, organized by Marevivo, was concluded on 27th May: an operation to clean the seabed, during which two nets, each approximately 120 meters long, were removed at San Felice Circeo, as well as almost 60 fishing pots in an area rich in Neptune grass (Posidonia Oceanica). This is an action that Zignago Vetro is proud to have sponsored, and which needs to be put into context so as to fully understand it.

It is in fact a perfect example of a circular economy: it can be recycled 100% and an infinite number of times, without the result losing any quality. The new container is always identical to the preceding one, provided the process of waste sorting and recycling is of high quality.

With an increased score from 55 to 59, the Zignago Vetro Group has qualified for “Silver in the Ecovadis ranking”
This is a procedure for reporting offenses, with reference to violations of which one has become aware in the workplace regarding:
Protection of the whistleblower implies a guarantee of confidentiality regarding the person reporting, prevention of any retaliatory acts, and allowance for a just cause for revealing secrets that will therefore exonerate the worker from any civil or penal responsibility.
Such protection ceases in the case of unfounded reports based on willful misconduct or gross negligence. In this regard, there will also be sanctions for those who are found responsible for the torts of defamation or calumny.
