“La Transbaie” returns: Zignago Vetro France combines sport and sustainability

Following the last edition in 2019, Sunday 6th September will witness the return of La Transbaie, the famous 17 kilometer running race – in its extraordinary natural setting – that winds its way through the picturesque Baie de Somme, in Picardy, and which this year will see the special participation of a team from Zignago Vetro France.

Running within a protected area is not only an athletic challenge; it also calls for a great deal of responsibility. For this reason, the course of the race has been designed with a clear objective: to offer a top-level sporting experience while preserving the ecological balance and biodiversity of the site.

Indeed, it is this philosophy that unites La Transbaie and Zignago Vetro, where – day in and day out – we pursue excellence in production without forgetting our constant commitment to reducing environmental impact, safeguarding resources, and enhancing the circular economy by recycling glass.
