The employees of Zignago Vetro have set up an in-house subscription to raise funds destined for the refugees fleeing from the war in Ukraine. But that’s not all: many of them have also chosen to welcome the refugees into their own homes. The Group has, in turn, decided to embrace and support these extremely humanitarian initiatives by doubling the amount gathered by the staff and donate it to local organizations in the vicinity of Zignago Vetro’s factory at Trabki, just over 250 km away from the border with Ukraine. This considerable help will serve for the purchase of basic necessities, and for assisting and providing accommodation for the refugees, as well as being a demonstration of human values, sympathy, and condemnation of the unjustified violence against the Ukrainian people.
This is a procedure for reporting offenses, with reference to violations of which one has become aware in the workplace regarding:
Protection of the whistleblower implies a guarantee of confidentiality regarding the person reporting, prevention of any retaliatory acts, and allowance for a just cause for revealing secrets that will therefore exonerate the worker from any civil or penal responsibility.
Such protection ceases in the case of unfounded reports based on willful misconduct or gross negligence. In this regard, there will also be sanctions for those who are found responsible for the torts of defamation or calumny.
